Find of the week: Vintage Sunglasses // June 27- July 3, 2010

OK, so vintage sunglasses are HUGE. And everybody has wayfarers, aviators, etc. now a days. However, there is a difference between vintage inspired and vintage. So this week I'm calling the UV protecting spectacles my find because of the ones I'm wearing in the photo.

I'm leaving the pool and taking the Push Car (A 1992 Toyota Trecel) home. I sit down, set down my gray bag and see these almond, wayfarer inspired, gold-trimmed shades. Pick them up and ask my cousin Joshua if these belong to him and he said he's never seen them in his life. I take them and now they're a part of my collection.

So whether these ended up on my face through the faith of God, pure luck, or I just plain jacked someones sunglasses, I do have to say this has been one of the weirdest finds yet.

Interested in some vintage sunglasses? Try AA, Goodwill/thrift, or see if someone in your family has kept their shades from when they were young. To have them actually be vintage is to be a step about the trend by not being within the commercial wave of vintage-inspired.

Here's a close up!

Creeper Status- June 26, 2010

This night was a big wtf night. Basically started off with a very last minute photo shoot that lasted only about 20 minutes and produced barely a handful of good photos. The light went away and my friend Bria and I went back to her house so I could see her grandma and her dogs. The whole night was just one big creep status and we ended it by going to this crazy park and making obstacle courses. Anyway, we got this out of it:

And lastly here's a quick comparison from the very first photo shoot we did at the palm tree forest:
These had to have been sophomore year 2008 spring time :)
